What is an After Hours Mixer?

After hours mixers are a great opportunity for the business community to
meet and network with each other. The diversity of the group creates
excellent networking opportunities, interesting discussions, and
interaction. Business cards are exchanged and new contacts are made,
participants are served food and beverages as the After Hours Mixer
sponsor determines. Mingle with a diverse group of professionals in a
friendly, fun and comfortable environment with prizes, appetizers,
refreshments, and networking. The Chamber of Commerce After
Hours Mixers are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month normally running from 4:30 - 6:30
PM with the exception of July and August when a mixer is not held. Mixers may sometimes begin at 5:00pm, depending on the host.
The After Hours Mixer will host a Chamber Connections Table. The table will be dressed for members to place their business cards, members only promotions, etc. to share with the membership. No bookings, the table will be first come, first served. Bring your info!
For new
members and guests, there will be 2 Board members serving as hosts at each mixer. They will be available to introduce you to other members at the mixer. Look for the "HOST" name tag, or ask at the sign in table.
Who can Sponsor an After Hours Mixer?
Any business in good standing can host an After Hours Mixer. It is important however to speak for a date early in the year as the spots fill up quickly. Some businesses co-sponsor a mixer and share the cost.
