Summer Street Fest 2010 What a Success! (See the Pictures)

What a great day!
Well, if you didn’t get down to 49th Street on Saturday, June 12, you missed a great event. The streets downtown carried a festival atmosphere everywhere you looked with food vendors and market vendors showing off their wares.
The smell of burgers, sausages and popcorn lingered all day long. There was entertainment for all ages and all day long and there's nothing better than a free pancake breakfast to start things off -served to you by the wonderful Kurt Price, Heather Klages and Streetscapes' very own President, Mr. Rob Anderson. Local charities got on board with many events and we hope they had a profitable day for all their time and come back next year.
The downtown stores were a hustle and bustle of activities with sidewalk sales and fashion shows taking place. Many people were saying “I didn’t know that business was downtown” or “I didn’t know they carried that” - and that is what we wanted to achieve: letting people know we have everything in Downtown Lloydminster and it’s all Right Here, Right Now!
Everywhere you looked people were smiling and laughing and having fun. And a great day was had by all!
