The Lloydminster Chamber of Commerce hosted an info session Wednesday afternoon to learn more about an opportunity to promote local business connections with China.

Jerry Liu and April Ynchen gave the presentation representing Vancouver-based Tianjiao International Education Group.

"We have the connection with the government in Beijing and also the local schools and we want to bring more people into China to see how it has changed in the last few years," said Ynchen. "We try to be the bridge (between) our two nations."

The trip runs from Oct. 20 to 29. Two other Chambers in Alberta have agreed to take part in the trip including 24 members from Cold Lake.
